Dr. Tay is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is currently Chairman and Professor of the Department of Endodontics, The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, Georgia, USA. Dr. Tay is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He serves as Associate Editors for the Journal of Endodontics and Journal of Dentistry. His research interests include collagen biomineralization, remineralization of resin-dentin bonds, antimicrobial sol-gel chemistry, mesoporous silica and endodontic materials. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Dental Materials and has published more than 600 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Tay’s current H-index is 105.

Dr. Domenico Ricucci received his degree in General Medicine from "La Sapienza" University of Rome in 1982, and his DDS from the same University in 1985. Since then on he has maintained private dental practices limited to endodontics. He served in the Research Committee of the European Society of Endodontology from 1999 to 2005. Since 1998 he has run his own histology laboratory and his primary research interest relates to pulpal and periapical tissue reactions to caries and treatment procedures, biofilms in endodontic infections, etiology of RTC treatment failure, pulp regeneration / revascularization.

Dr. Lisha Gu is Professor, Chief Physician, and Deputy Director in the Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics at Guanghua School of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University, China. She received her Ph.D. from Sun Yat-sen University and completed postdoctoral training at Augusta University, USA.
Dr. Gu has published 58 peer-reviewed papers as first author or corresponding author in leading journals, including the Journal of Dental Research, Acta Biomaterialia, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Advanced Composites and Hybrid Materials. Her contributions have been recognized through the IADR Gies Award, inclusion in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list from 2023 to 2025, and selection as an Elsevier Most Cited Chinese Researcher from 2014 to 2019.

Dr. N. Vasudev Ballal is a Professor in the specialty of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. He acquired his MDS and PhD degree in Endodontics from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India. He has collaborated with several renowned international universities and completed more than 60 research projects. He has authored over 200 publications in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals. He serves on the editorial boards of more than 30 journals and is a reviewer for 141 international journals. He is also Associate Editor of Frontiers in Dental Medicine, European Journal of Dentistry, Case Reports in Dentistry, and Endodontology.

Professor Emeritus (Endodontics) at UBC, Vancouver, Canada. Member of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (endod.), Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, Associate member of AAE. Dr. Haapasalo has authored or co-authored over 250 scientific peer reviewed articles and written chapters in several international endodontic textbooks. In endodontics, his areas of special interest include biofilms, irrigation, persistent infections, resorptions and instrumentation. His research laboratory has trained tens of scientists from all over the world.

Dr. Meetu Ralli Kohli is Clinical Associate Professor and Director for Continuing Education and International Visiting Scholar Program at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Endodontic department. She is a member of the Dean’s advisory council, School of Dental Medicine, UPENN. She is on the Scientific Advisory Board as a reviewer for Journal of Endodontics and International Endodontic Journal. Dr. Kohli has published in national and international peer reviewed journals and has contributed in books on microsurgical retreatment.

Professor Flávio Alves received his DDS, endodontic certificate, and master’s degree from Estácio de Sá University, Rio de Janeiro, in 1999, 2002, and 2004, respectively. He completed his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2008. Dr. Alves served as the General Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Dentistry at the University of Grande Rio (Master’s and Doctorate, 2020-2024). He is currently a professor in this program as well as in another at Iguaçu University. He has published over 150 articles in Endodontics, and has an H-index of 34 (SCOPUS).
